German industrial production fails to strengthen in October
Industrial production in Germany surprised to the downside in October, disappointing expectations of a further increase . Sector specific problems among car producers had depressed production in Q3 and a “mechanical rebound†was to be expected. So far there is little evidence for that , suggesting that the underlying cyclical momentum remains weak for now.
