Instead of exporting to the United States, does China export to other Asian countries that export to the United States?

We seek to determine whether the US trade sanctions against China (tariffs, bans on importing or exporting certain products - telecoms equipment, electronics, etc.) are being circumvented by China. If this were the case, China would no longer export directly to the United States, but to other Asian countries, which would in turn export to the United States. Trade analysis shows that China is probably circumventing the US sanctions: the decline in Chinese exports to the United States has been accompanied by a sharp rise in Chinese exports to Southeast Asian countries and in exports from Southeast Asian countries to the United States. We cannot find any evidence that China is circumventing US sanctions on Chinese imports.
