Is France beginning to reindustrialise?

Reindustrialisation is a key objective of France's economic policy. We seek to determine whether we are seeing the beginnings of reindustrialisation by looking at: Manufacturing production overall and by industrial sector; Value added in volume terms in manufacturing industry; Employment in manufacturing industry; The corporate investment rate; Foreign trade in manufactured goods; i.e. objective indicators of the weight of industry, not partial indicators (number of foreign investments, jobs created by these investments). We can see that the only development consistent with reindustrialisation is the rise in the corporate investment rate.
