Is there an anomaly in companies’ recent hiring difficulties?

After the COVID crisis, have companies reported abnormal hiring difficulties out of sync with their usual relationship with the economic cycle? This could be a result of the major shift in the structure of jobs, leading to mismatches between the skills of the labour force and those required by companies; and of the growing rejection after the crisis of arduous jobs and unusual hours. Abnormal hiring difficulties after the COVID crisis would, of course, slow down the economic recovery. Statistical analysis shows abnormally high hiring difficulties: Since the COVID crisis in the United States; But as early as 2017 in the euro zone.
