Italian presidential election: A first round inconclusive
The first session of the Italian Congress on Monday 24 th of January to elect the President of the Republic ended with no winner , majority of “Blank” . That was widely expected. The process remains complex and often requires several ballots. The political parties didn’t reach an agreement before the ballot .
