Manufacturing PMI keeps declining in March
The euro area composite PMI declined further in March to 51.3 (51.9 in February) while consensus was expecting a stabilization. The manufacturing index continues to decline (47.6 vs 49.36 in February) and the difficulties faced by the sector seem more severe than expected. However, sentiment in the services sector is quite resilient and stabilized at 52.7.
