MORE SUNNY PERIODS NEXT WEEK?

Edito Good weather has materialized for the school holiday but will it continue for the major events next week? Will February 27 be a D-Day for T. May, who has to come before the House of Commons again, with a risk hanging over her head that Parliament will vote to put off Brexit? The E.U. could also make a “parallel declaration” on February 28 emphasizing the “temporary” character of the safety net in order to reassure the British MPs. At the end of the China-USA trade truce on March 1, we expect a first series of announcements, and negotiations on more structural measures being put off into the future. All these events should normally bring more sunny periods, at least before the United States attacks the European market in coming months.
