Nickel : A changing product landscape

The move away of nickel production fr om sulphide rich regions to laterite rich Indonesia has impacted the nickel product offering. In addition to that, the relatively recent ability to economically obtain battery grade nickel via intermediate and class II nickel has also impacted the product offering. This has dealt a blow to the idea that the market was facing a severe long-term deficit because of E . This leaves us to wonder about the role of class I nickel in this changing landscape. In this report we explain the changes in the product landscape and the ultimate impact on nickel prices for the next two years.
