No CPI Inflation in France in September

French inflation (CPI) slowed further down from +0.2% YoY in August to +0% in September, slightly lower than expected. French consumer prices decreased further in September from -0.1% MoM in August to -0.5% in September, as the drop of prices f or services (-1.5% MoM), energy (-0.7% MoM) and food (-0.5% MoM) offset the rebound of manufactured products prices (+1.6% MoM). Outlook : I nflation should remain low in the coming months due to the low level of the oil price . After +1.1% in 2019 on average, French inflation (CPI) is expected to decline sharply further to 0.5% in 2020 and to remain very low at 0.6% in 2021 .
