SPAIN: ARE EARLY ELECTIONS INEVITABLE?
Four months from the April 28 general election, Spain is still without a new head of government. If this situation persists until 23 September, both houses will be dissolved and new election s will take place . In a generally deteriorating international and economic environment, the costs of political uncertainty could be felt more strongly. Early elections would also interfere with the timetable for drafting the 2020 budget.
