Supply bottlenecks continue hitting

US inflation stubbornly above 5% so transitory is becoming a bit stretched. Several Fed policymakers were in favor of a faster tapering in the last meeting. On the other side of Atlantic, transitory is still the right interpretation of current price dynamics, with no evidence of significant second-round effects according to ECB President Lagarde. Meanwhile, latest data are showing that Europe is not immune to supply bottlenecks, with industrial production falling back below the pre-pandemic levels , German exports falling for the first time in 15 months and the ZEW investor morale deteriorating for the fifth consecutive month .
