The countries that will fare well in 2019 are those that appear to have negative features for the medium term

It is generally considered that those countries that have : Small energy imports ; A large industry, are in a better structural economic situation than other countries (which import a lot of energy and have a small industry). F rom a cyclical and not structural viewpoint, however, in 2019 it will be the countries that import a lot of energy and have a small industry that will enjoy stronger growth than the other countries, due to the fall in oil prices and the global downturn in demand for industrial products. This is the case for example of France and South Africa. Paradoxicall y, positive features in 2019 are negative features structurally .
