The discontent in France is understandable

The discontent in France can probably be explained by: The low level of the employment rate; The weak growth in productivity, and therefore in real wages; The rise in home prices; The deterioration in the quality of jobs. The only serious remedy to correct this discontent is then a long-term remedy: improving labour force skills to restore the employment rate and productivity; reindustrialisation to improve the quality of jobs; increasing housing supply .
