The economic policy debate in France should be based on real figures

For the economic policy debate in France to be clear and constructive , it should be based on real figures. This is not always the case. In particular, it needs to be accepted collectively that: The wage share of value added has increased; Income inequality after redistribution has not increased and is low relative to other countries, and France has large-scale redistributive policies; The weight of dividends has not increased and there is no evidence that dividends have reduced investment; A significant share of demand growth goes to imports.
