The social crisis in the United States is also understandable for economic reasons
The political and social crisis in the United States has specific causes (police violence, racial discrimination), but also, of course, economic causes: Extreme increase in income and wealth inequalities; Inequalities between different communities (white, Asian, black, Hispanic); Growing poverty and weak social welfare, skewing of income distribution against employees; Weak redistributive policies. All shocks (economic, such as the COVID crisis, political) can therefore have very drastic effects in a society where so many people are in difficulty. This will one day lead to questioning the United States' economic choices that have led to this situation.
