The United States shows us clearly what happens when "financial capitalists" take over
                                                            The fact that "financial capitalists" have taken over in the United States has led to: A decline in  employees’  bargaining power,  leading to a  distortion of income distribution in favour of profits; A lack of effort to combat monopoly rents (for example those of the GAFAM); An expansionary monetary policy, thanks to the low level of inflation, itself due to the small wage increases :   This  expansionary monetary policy and   low interest rates make it possible: To conduct an expansionary fiscal policy whose objective is to increase corporate earnings and drive up share prices; For companies to finance   share buybacks by borrowing at low interest rates, which increase s  companies’ value per share. We see this very sophisticated   organisation that makes it possible, by every  possible   means , to enrich shareholders.
