There are many different possible causes of the next financial crisis

The next serious financial crisis may be triggered by: An unexpected rise in interest rates causing a public debt crisis in OECD countri es; The impossibility of maintaining the financial repression policy in China (controls on capital outflows, abnormally low interest rates) that prevents massive capital outflows and a debt crisis; Significant capital outflows from emerging countries that trigger a currency crisis and a decline in activity in these countries ; A loss of reserve currency status for the dollar, forcing the United States to eliminate its external deficit; Renewed mistrust in the solvency of the peripheral euro-zone countries.
