UK-NowNat: A deep recession
Even with better PMIs in June , our nowcasting model UK - NowNat has strongly revised down its forecast s for the UK’s growth outlook for the coming two quarters, mostly on the back of a plunge in the ONS’s Index of Services (-19% from March to April). For now, our model expects a big drop in activity in Q2 (-12.4%) followed by another sharp decline in Q3 (-11.7%).
