United Kingdom: labour market still very tight
Nov ember labour market figures confirm th at the tightening of the UK labour market is still ongoing. 3M/3M UK unemployment rate decreased , reaching 4.0% (after 4.1% in the three months up to October). Average Weekly Earnings accelerated in the three months up t o November, rising by 3.4% (including bonuses) and by 3.3% (excluding bonuses) , after 3.3% for both measures in October . Overall employment grew , by + 141k on a 3M/3M basis .
