Why is there a global industrial crisis?

Many countries are experiencing a sharp downturn in their industrial production. Why? When we look at the components of industry, we see that the downturn in production concerns all products in the euro zone and Japan and primarily cars in China; the United States is less affected. What mechanisms may have triggered this downturn in demand for industrial products? We look at the United States, the euro zone, Japan and China. A slowdown in credit? No; An end to the corporate investment cycle? Yes, in Japan; Saturated demand ( for cars, durable goods)? Yes, everywhere; A rise in the prices of industrial products? Yes, in the United States, the euro zone and China; Specific factors, today for example environmental regulations. The industrial crisis seems to be mainly related to the saturation of demand for durable goods, the end of the investment cycle in Japan and the rise in the prices of industrial products.
