Will the financial fragility of the United States appear?

It is well known that the United States' main financial fragility is the need to borrow from the rest of the world to finance its external and structural fiscal deficits and to correct the shortfall in domestic savings. It must therefore be able to attract capital from the rest of the world. If the United States is no longer attractive to foreign investors, it will suffer a major financial crisis. Foreign investors may be concerned about: Joe Biden's economic programme (which may lead to rising interest rates and falling equity market s ); Donald Trump’s conflict policy (with China and Europe) and the negative effects of protectionism; Economic damage caused by a lasting health crisis; Social and political tension s in the United States.
