T-Mobile Quick Hit: Dividend Announced; Buyback Cut
T-Mobile has announced that it will pay an annual dividend of $3BN, starting with a $750MM payment in 4Q23 and they will grow it by around 10% per year. This translates into a dividend of roughly $2.41$2.51 per share, for a yield of just less than 1.9%. T-Mobile committed to return $19BN to shareholders through the end of 2024. With $3.83BN going to the dividend, share repurchases should reach $15.18BN.T-Mobile US provides mobile communications services, including voice, messaging and data, under its brands, T-Mobile and Metro? by T-Mobile, in the United States, Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands. The company provides mobile communications services using its 4G Long-Term Evolution network and its 5G technology network. The company also provides various wireless devices, including handsets, tablets and other mobile communication devices, and accessories for sale, as well as financing through Equipment Installment Plans and leasing through JUMP! On Demand?. The company provides reinsurance for handset insurance policies and extended warranty contracts offered to its mobile communications customers.
