Amadeus IT Group : Recovery picks up pace and increase in costs remains under control
>Q1 2022 sales ahead of expectations thanks to brisker volumes - Amadeus reported its Q1 2022 results on the evening of Friday, 6 May. Sales came in at € 917m, 3% above consensus expectations (€ 890m). This reflects a 35% decline in activity vs Q1 2019. This is an improvement on Q4 2021, which was 40% below 2019, even though the Omicron variant severely impacted business in January. The recovery was very marked in February and March.The Air Distribution business ...Amadeus is a transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry. Co. provides transaction processing power and technology solutions to both travel providers (including full service carriers and low-cost airlines, hotels, rail operators, cruise and ferry operators, car rental companies and tour operators) and travel agencies (both online and offline).
