Mediaset Espana : H1 2022 earnings beat estimates and Q3 still down
>Advertising trend still tough in Spain in H2 - Mediaset España published yesterday Q2 2022 results clearly above our estimates with EBITDA of € 71.7m vs € 60m forecast. Most of the gap can be explained by the cost base below our forecast, down 12.5% y-o-y (vs -5% expected). The advertising decline came to -10% in Q2 while we had expected -5%. This is due mainly to a very tough base effect after the 87% increase in Q2 2021, following the broadcast of the Euro 2021 in...Gestevision Telecinco is a television network company based in Spain.
