News that Toyota Motor (7203 JT) is cutting back its EV production plans is further bad news for Rohm (6963 JT), whose once-exciting SiC business is looking increasingly like an albatross. The segment also provides foundry services. Discrete Semiconductor Devices segment offers diodes, transistors, light emitting diodes and laser diodes. Modules segment offers print heads, optical modules and power modules. Co. is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of resistors and tantalum capacitors.
