Atos - AGM 27 October 2020
This Meeting is called to express an opinion on the Group's medium-term orientations (2024-2025), but also on the appointment of Edouard Philippe as a Member of the Board.
Regarding the medium-term orientations, this new strategic plan seems ambitious and the shareholder consultation process (already implemented in December 2013 and 2016) is very appreciable as very rare in France.
Regarding the appointment of Edouard Philippe, former Prime Minister and current Mayor of Le Havre (major French city), we also appreciate the great transparency that Atos has shown by publishing in its brochure both the full opinion of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life, but also by recalling its policy in terms of managing conflicts of interest. These elements seem to confirm the absence (or express prevention) of a conflict of interest situation. In addition, we appreciate that Atos clearly explained the skills that Mr. Philippe will bring to the Board and which explain this appointment. We therefore support the proposed resolutions 1 and 2.
