Suite à son départ contraint, une indemnité de 2 991 860 € a été attribuée à M. Buffet, ancien PDG de la société.
Proxinvest s'oppose depuis longtemps aux indemnités de départ chez Eramet en raison non seulement de leur montant (24 mois de rémunération fixe+variable), mais aussi du fait qu'elles peuvent être versées en cas de départ suite à une révocation ou une démission provoquée, ce qui ne respecte pas du tout l'esprit de ces indemnités.
On notera qu'aucune des actions gratuites de performance dont M. Buffet a été bénéficiaire ces dernières années et non encore acquises au moment du départ n'a été annulée ou proratisée, comme le recommande régulièrement le Haut Comité de Gouvernement d'Entreprise suite au scandale Alstom. Ainsi, en levant la condition de présence pour M. Buffet pour les plans de 2015 et 2016 non encore acquis, le conseil d'administration a permis à M. Buffet d'obtenir 44 810 actions gratuites de performance qu'il aurait du perdre. Au 31 décembre 2017, ces 44 810 actions ont une valeur de 4,4M€., soit un package de départ (actions gratuites et indemnité de départ comprises) de 7 429 394 €.
