MARKET COMMENTThe Russian market lagged peers for a fourth straight day on Friday, the RTS declining 0.9% to 1,115 while the MSCI EM gained 0.9%. Concerns about remarks regarding Russia from US members of Congress appeared to drive the underperformance. Meanwhile, global markets and the dollar saw some weakness on the back of additional talk of new tariffs between major global trade partners and news that the US president does not approve of current Fed policy.
