MARKET COMMENT - SLUGGISH INDICATORS BUT FEW GLOBAL CATALYSTS THIS MORNINGThe RTS declined 0.6% yesterday to 1,321, underperforming EMs, for which the MSCI benchmark gained 0.6%. A more than 1% drop in Brent was a likely factor in Russia's underperformance. Usual uncertainties about the US/China trade deal and in-line results for Chinese inflation have been the main stories in so far sluggish news flow overnight and this morning, while today will see a number of Russian and US company events of interest, another Brexit debate in the UK Parliament, and the start of the WB/IMF meetings.STORIES> Halyk Bank CEO comments on dividends> President approves compensation to airlines, positive for Aeroflot

This morning, the ruble has weakened somewhat offshore, sliding to USD/RUB 98, whereas on the Moscow Exchange it is trading at 95.5. In focus today will be EU and NATO summits at which comments about Russia's plan to switch to ruble settlement for gas could be forthcoming.
