CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe 10y US Treasury yield dropped 2 bps following the release of US 2Q18 GDP on Friday afternoon, which had a positive impact on CIS Eurobonds. In the Russian sovereign segment, long-dated paper fared the best, gaining 0.2-0.3 pp, while other issues barely moved. The Russia 43 was the day's outperformer, rising 0.3 pp to 110.5% (YTM 5.1%, Z-spread 209 bps).GOVERNMENT DEBTTrading activity was virtually zero on Friday morning ahead of the CBR rate decision. The regulator left the key rate on hold at 7.25%, prompting investors to sell short- and medium-dated paper, as it appears that some had been buying in the run-up to the decision in anticipation of a rate cut. However, the selloff was mild. Volumes came in below R8 bln.
