CIS EUROBOND MARKETFriday’s trading in the Russian sovereign Eurobond segment was mixed. The Russia 28 outperformed, adding 0.2 pp in price to close at 167.1% (YTM 4.5%, Z-spread 164 bps). The Russia 47 also advanced 0.2 pp, reaching 100.6% (YTM 5.2%, Z-spread 228 bps). The Russia 42 was an underperformer, shedding 0.2 pp to finish at 108.1% (YTM 5.0%, Z-spread 209 bps).
GOVERNMENT DEBT
OFZ yields moved lower on Friday following an extended ascent. Long-dated issues gave back 2 bps in yield, while only select shorter issues were in demand. An exception was the 1y OFZ 26216, which surged 7 bps to 6.37% on elevated volume.
