MARKET COMMENT - GEOPOLITICAL FACTORS DOMINATE OVER STRONG MACROGlobal markets demonstrated fairly mixed results yesterday. Asian indexes rose by up to 2%, but these gains were followed by declines in the European trading session. The RTS closed down 2.1%, even though it traded higher for much of the session amid buoyant energy prices. An upturn in sentiment during the American session led to gains of 0.3-0.8% in benchmark US stock indexes. Russian stocks are up around 1.0% this morning.
