CIS EUROBOND MARKETRussian sovereign Eurobond quotes retreated in the morning and advanced in the afternoon, in line with movements in US Treasury yields. By the close, however, quotes were little changed on the day. Long issues (the Russia 42 and 43) remained in demand among Asian investors.
GOVERNMENT DEBT
Local demand for OFZs was modest. In the afternoon, yields eased 1-3 bps at the long end and 3-5 bps in the belly. They were unchanged at the short end. Volumes stayed below average.
