Debt Markets Today - February 1, 2022. OFZ Weekly Flows; Evraz Operating Results; Overview of Kazakh, Russian Rates Turbulence
CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe week started calmly in the Russian sovereign Eurobond market. Without new triggers, Friday's trend remained in place. The Russia 43 lost 1.2 pp and the Russia 28 dropped 0.7 pp. GOVERNMENT DEBTThe gains in OFZs resumed yesterday. The move was driven by the local bid, while nonresidents remained on the offer side. The curve tightened 2-7 bps, which was one of the strongest results in the EM local debt space, where the changes in yield ranged from +7 bps to -7 bps.
