Debt Markets Today - October 21, 2021. Russian Weekly Inflation, STLC Eurobond Placement, Samruk-Kazyna Deal Pricing, MHP Trading Update

CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe Russian sovereign Eurobond market closed without significant movements in quotes yesterday, with the focus remaining on the Russian corporate segment. Lukoil and Gazprom issues led the losses, sagging 0.2-0.6 pp (the Lukoil 30 with the biggest loss), while the Sovcombank 25 outperformed the market with a 0.2 pp gain.GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZs opened with yields 4-7 bps higher yesterday as the market priced in the sharp rise in UST yields the day before. However, following the weekly auction, OFZs managed to claw back a portion of the losses. Yields finished the day 2-5 bps higher. Trading volumes on the Moscow Exchange totaled R46 bln, which is well above the average daily figure over the last month.
