Debt Markets Today - July 14, 2021. Petropavlovsk Partial Buyback of 2022 Eurobond, NLMK Strong 2Q21 Operating Update, Modest Offer at Weekly OFZ Auctions
CIS EUROBOND MARKETCIS Eurobonds continued to trade sideways yesterday. The main exceptions were the Petropavlovsk 22, which gained 0.5 pp after a tender offer was announced (see the story below), and the Uzbekistan 29, which fell another 0.2 pp in price in the wake of the recent placement of the new Uzbekistan 31.GOVERNMENT DEBTThe OFZ curve continued to flatten yesterday, probably thanks in part to a strengthening ruble. Short-dated issues climbed 2-4 bps in yield, while yields on long-term issues rose just 1 bp. OFZs found support from the Finance Ministry's announcement of a fairly modest offering for today's auction.
