MARKET COMMENTEMs were in broad retreat yesterday, as the MSCI EM declined 1.2% and fewer than a quarter of the countries in the index saw a positive performance. With a 0.7% drop, Russia was right at the median performance level. US trade rhetoric (discussed inside) and select EM domestic woes appeared to be largely to blame. The morning outlook looks little improved so far, and we expect a 0.25% drop on the open for the RTS.O'key Group is a Russian retailer.
