Yandex - E-commerce Joins Search, Ad Market as Upside Triggers

Yandex remains our top pick. In our last report, we highlighted two upside triggers: search share gains (by 12 pp to around 50% on mobile devices, we estimate), which should come this autumn, and continued expansion of the already-strong internet advertising market feeding from other ad media and non-ad marketing segments (such as BTL). We now see an additional upside trigger in Yandex.Market, which could be developed into an online hypermarket, possibly with the help of international partners such as China's JD.com.
