IQ: Better 1Q21 Due To Winter Break, Chinese New Year Holiday And Strong Pipeline
IQ will report 4Q20 results on February 17th after the market closes with a 7pm EST conference call. We are positive into IQ’s 1Q21. 4Q20 is supposed to be a weaker season compared with 3Q20 as students’ summer holidays ended. However, 4Q20 is likely to be shorter than normal as many schools are going to end the semester earlier and send students back home for winter break and Chinese New Year in 1Q21. Therefore, we expect 1Q21 to be a better quarter, and we believe IQ is well-prepared with its rich pipeline of shows.
