VNIndex traded in the green for a very short time at the beginning of today’s session. Because many large-cap stocks lost their momentum later, the index fell into the red for the rest of the day. There were 19 shares going down in VN30Index compared to the 10 shares that moved up. The three large-cap stocks VNM, SAB and VIC contributed more than 5 pts to the fall of the VNIndex. The index closed at 938.65 pts, equivalent to almost 9 pts loss. On the opposite side, the HNXIndex increased 1.16 pts and continued to trade in the green for the second day in a row. Liquidity contracted to around VND4,700 billion, far lower than that of over the last two days.
