In 2018, SAB recorded VND35,949bn in net revenue, up 5.1% and similar to the industry's growth rate.After being acquired by Thaibev, SAB strongly invested in brand building activities (which is the strength of Thaibev). It increased the coverage of Saigon beer brands through many advertising and sponsorship campaigns such as: (1) sponsoring Leicester City football team, (2) "Saigon Special Beach Festival" concert series, (3) consumer promotion program "Successful drinking, winning eight luxury cars", etc. SAB's market share in the second half increased by 1.8%.
