Arcadis 26 year company veteran and GBA-head of Resilience to become new CEO
Arcadis has nominated Heather Polinsky as its next CEO, effective 1 March 2026, pending shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting next May. Alan Brookes will step down earlier than expected, as his term was originally set to run until 2027. The leadership change is intended to reinvigorate growth and strengthen the company's market position ahead of its next strategic cycle. Arcadis has missed its organic growth targets from the 2023 CMD, with year-to-date topline growth in 2025 at only 0.2%, and 2026 likely to remain a transitional year. While management recently reiterated its margin commitments, cost optimization and restructuring measures will be necessary to derisk these targets. As these will weigh on short-term profitability and efficiency we maintain our Hold recommendation despite the current deep discount valuation. We will revise non-operating cost estimates upward for 4Q25 and 2026.Arcadis NV is a global asset design and consultancy company.
