CIS EUROBOND MARKETRussian sovereign quotes proved impotent in the face of pressure from declining risk appetite as well as renewed talk of sanctions from the US. Long-dated issues lost 1.0-1.2 pp, with the Russia 47 suffering the most and closing at 97.5% (YTM 5.4%, Z-spread 234 bps).GOVERNMENT DEBTAmid a continuing weakening of the ruble and escalation of the topic of US sanctions, OFZ yields surged 10-16 bps across the curve yesterday. Volumes reached R25 bln, which is double what had been seen in recent days. The largest selling likely came from locals, who were seeking to take profit. After having been relatively flat recently, floating-coupon OFZs also sold off sharply (15-27 bps) in price yesterday.
