EM leadership screen & chart book

Notable Themes:

• EM Sector Overweights: Led by Tech, which is advancing to new relative strength highs, cyclical sectors continue to outperform. Energy and materials present timely buys; both sector's relative strength trends have pulled back to support levels. We still recommend overweighting energy, financials, materials, and tech... see pages 2-3.

• Tech Stocks: Tech is a global leader. Attractive charts highlighted today: Inari Amerton Berhad (0166-MY), Dongbu HiTek (000990-KR), Samsung SDI (006400-KR), E Ink (8069-TW), Hana Microelectronics (HANA-TH), and Pegatron (4938-TW).

• Strength in Metal Fabrication Stocks: A repeat recommendation from our last EM screen, metal fabrication stocks continue to screen well. We like Catcher Technology (2474-TW) and Duzon Bizon (012510-KR).

• Bullish Banks: Some of the better chart patterns are concentrated in the banks. Our favorite names from this week's report, many which are emerging from cyclical base patterns: Banco Santander Chile, CIMB Group (1023-MY), Bangkok Bank (BBL-TH), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI-PH), and Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi (VAKBN-TR).

• Overweight Small Caps: The EM Small/Large-Cap ratio is reversing a 12-month downtrend in favor of small caps. Adjust accordingly
