Überraschend gutes erstes Quartal

Nach der Veröffentlichung des Jahresabschlusses 2019 und der Eckdaten für das erste Quartal 2020e bestätigen wir unser Buy-Rating für die Aktien der Surteco Group SE. Gleichzeitig passen wir unser Kursziel leicht auf EUR 27,90 von EUR 28,20 je Aktie an. Ende letzter Woche hat Surteco überraschend positive Eckdaten für das erste Quartal vorgelegt, den Ausblick für den weiteren Jahresverlauf gleichwohl gedämpft. Während die Q1-Umsätze um -6% rückläufig waren, was in erster Linie auf ein schwaches Laminatgeschäft zurückzuführen ist, konnten EBITDA und EBIT um 6% bzw. 16% auf EUR 23,9 bzw. 13,4 Mio. gesteigert werden. Die EBIT-Marge (bezogen auf die Gesamtleistung) verbesserte sich damit um 140 Basispunkte auf 7,7%. Damit wäre Surteco auf gutem Kurs, die eigene Jahresprognose ohne Berücksichtigung von Pandemieeffekten, u. a. eines EBITs zwischen EUR 40 und 45 Mio., zu erreichen, hat diese Vorgabe jedoch angesichts unvorhersehbarer COVID-19-Einbußen und aktuell rückläufiger Auftragseingänge insbesondere aus der Kernbranche der Möbel- und Holzwerkstoffindustrie zurückgenommen.
